Game Assets Modeling
3D game asset modeling is the process of creating digital objects used in video games. These assets can include characters, environments, weapons, vehicles, props, and UI elements. They are designed using 3D modeling software and optimized for real-time rendering in game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
Blocking & Base Modeling – Basic shapes are created to define the structure.
High-Poly & Low-Poly Modeling
- High-poly models have detailed geometry (used for baking textures).
- Low-poly models are optimized for real-time rendering.
UV Mapping – The 3D model is unwrapped to apply textures correctly.
Texturing & Materials – Artists add colors, details, and materials using software like Substance Painter or Photoshop.
